  Would the world be a better place without religion?

  i know what you’re gonna say---------everyone has a right to believe whatever they want.. but the question above is not about everyone’s right to believe whatever.. the question is very specific------will the world be a better place----without religion.

  think for a while what the world would be like without any religion.. no conflicts between islam and christianity.. no conflicts between different sects of christianity.

  (example; jehovah’s witnesses vs catholics).

  the world will be a better place without the watchtower cult in its current guise ( subject to change again ):

  it accomplishes nothing useful to mankind

  it preaches false hope appealing to those who have none.

  But it could change for the better!

  Zoom Memorial

  well i did it.. i attended the zoom memorial ( in respect for my mum).

  it was very strange to say the least.

  everyone had bread and wine at their houses.

  its only when you have left it all far behind you--you really come to realise what a total crackpot outfit it all is. I feel sorry for all those trapped in it for fear of what happens if they leave.

  those of us who had the vaccine should be ok. Those that exercised their divine right to refuse a vaccine will most likely have to wear a mask for the rest of their lives---mainly as an indicator to the rest of us to keep a distance from them. But it wont be for too long--they will die off within a few covid seasons.

  walked away from the trooth years ago(over 20) my older sister sends me an invite to the memorial via zoom.

  i have no interest in jwism at all.

  should i ignore or respond?.

  so are individual witnesses being told to prepare bread and have wine on hand for the zoom memorial?

  are they saying it’s “vital” or is it just a “suggestion?” .

  er, yes, i'm not kidding.

  if you share anything deemed 'grossly offensive' online you will be standing in a court before a judge if someone is offended, wets their pants, and complains.. some policeman in devon shared a meme of george floyd (not particularly nice, but illegal?!

  ) in a whatsapp message to his mates, some of whom were coppers, some not.. and someone complained and he's been arrested.. first: yes, george floyd memes are highly likely to offend at least some people.
